It was so cool! There were these really tall dunes made of sand and we could run up and down and all around. Sometimes we even slid down them. Mom got this sled and went sand sledding. We thought that was so cool we wanted to go with her, but we didn't need no sled we just wanted to race her up the hill, then race her down the hill. It was one of the funnest things we did all vacation. And talk about smells! There are so many different critters that live here and we could smell them all. If Mom had only given us enough time to find some foxes or lizards, I'm sure we would have. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYJ0ZB46Q7Gt95MaTUQ2iWoFowbDp1VFGfGCtFPG4LOhRpKCr1kAgvPP-cbKiGw1jQjYh0abm2tOcTzFEo2Y7bv57gxZNDL4L6XBVEAPFq2hA7zOMqjF8d-O_PWTKcwez7GW9Ss8-8_6Y2/s1600/Grand_Canyon100027.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYJ0ZB46Q7Gt95MaTUQ2iWoFowbDp1VFGfGCtFPG4LOhRpKCr1kAgvPP-cbKiGw1jQjYh0abm2tOcTzFEo2Y7bv57gxZNDL4L6XBVEAPFq2hA7zOMqjF8d-O_PWTKcwez7GW9Ss8-8_6Y2/s320/Grand_Canyon100027.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">Look Mom, I can like my eyeball while running! We are a couple of crazy fun-loving dogs who love to travel, go on long walks, go camping, listen to the birds in the morning, catch frisbees and most of all do the doggie boogie. Our mom loves to dance with us. She calls is musical canine freestyle and thinks it's the coolest dog sport out there. Artamus really loves to do jumps and spins and I'm working on getting good with my sit pretty and doing all that creative heelwork. We'll tell you all more about that later though. These are some pics of us on our winter vacation to the Grand Canyon. This one up above is us at a vortex in Sedona, AZ. We thought it was pretty cool. There are some interesting energies up there and we think we could feel them. There were even some cool rocks and trees that grew in a swirled pattern.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh53wQEwNg1Cy6bOG0GAPwCQDBtCvCi5Ued5e6JAcLh-mKpZOJNDLbCsw54lOvweTwE7GvZcVpO2nfb2OCROrqqXxIASszvU1dtIHciHPgV0erRZ_WL_bp4z_ngSXMvA6zinUnyd8FBmXyy/s1600/Grand_Canyon100205.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh53wQEwNg1Cy6bOG0GAPwCQDBtCvCi5Ued5e6JAcLh-mKpZOJNDLbCsw54lOvweTwE7GvZcVpO2nfb2OCROrqqXxIASszvU1dtIHciHPgV0erRZ_WL_bp4z_ngSXMvA6zinUnyd8FBmXyy/s320/Grand_Canyon100205.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This is me with Mom and Dad. I'm the real lover of the family. I always want to give good kisses.</div><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This is Artamus checking out the view of the Grand Canyon. We couldn't get enough of wiggling out onto the edge and checking everything out. I think Mom kept getting nervous about us getting right out on the edge, but it was like we were on top of the world!</div><br />

I am very sensitive about Mom's balance on the slippery ice and helped pull her up some of those steep slopes. I was made for this weather. It was so cool! This was our first trip to see snow. You see we all live in Texas where we never get any snow. But I've got good traction and protection with my feathered paws. We are Australian shepherds afterall and we were made to withstand cold and wet conditions. I wasn't even cold one bit. I wish it snowed more at home. I really loved it. Mom and Dad would let us off leash in some abandoned parking lots and let us romp and run around. We had such a blast! It snowed 18 inches while we were at the Grand Canyon. That was record snow for them. Check back later and we'll tell you more about our awesome road trip.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
